Cabin envy Christmas

A very merry Christmas to all my followers, especially the new ones who have just signed up in the last couple of months. This is a very simple blog, ‘life on a Cornish cliff’ with a smattering of travel posts when I sometimes go inland, plus pictures of cabins that make me envious. Nothing earth shattering, just the comings and goings of rural East Cornwall, a part of the UK that is called ‘the forgotten corner’.

So, Christmas… we very rarely get snow in this part of the south west, something to do with the geography but I don’t know the details. My teenage son has only seen a white Christmas once in his 16 years (when we visited his granny in Yorkshire ) and he still remembers building a snowman at the age of three. I dream that one year we will head North to find the big snow and he can make as many snowmen as he likes, to make up for the absence of this winter activity in his life.

Of course we would have to stay in a cabin like this…

Whether you have a white Christmas or not, have a happy, healthy one and I hope to see you back here ready for life on a Cornish cliff in 2015.
