what’s missing?

Can anyone work out what’s missing from Freathy cliff on the picture above? One of my favourite landmarks on the cliff has gone. The lifeguard hut, that took a bashing in the winter storms has been taken down, the footprint is below. The photo is difficult to make out but the row of bricks at the front and the flattened mud gives you an impression of size, yes small, minute even. The old hut had enough room for a built in desk underneath the window look out point and that was it. I shall keep you posted on a replacement.

In the meantime the pathway down has been worked on and improved

and proper barriers have been installed to stop people accessing the old cliff path which is unsafe.

Its a May bank holiday today and the sun is already shining, so we will be heading off later to see if anything new has arrived.
