cabin envy 16

There’s a kind of doll’s house feel to the top photo (by Mike Last) but I love the one below, taken from my usual haunt – Cabin Porn- there was no name attributed to the shot but I believe it’s in Wales. I love the rough stone wall next to green timber, the boarded up window makes me think of our life guard hut on the beach here.

The flaky painted board leaning against the front is what is covering the window at this moment in time, protecting the glass from the winter weather. I love the way it perches on the cliff edge looking out across the bay at the surfers and swimmers, which is why I often post pics of it. You will just have to allow me that, I can’t wait for it to be up and running again. Mad friend has decided to swim the Plymouth breakwater for charity and she will need some open water swimming practice. She’s got until the end of the summer to get into shape. At the moment we are swimming in the 50m pool at the Plymouth Life Centre 2 to 3 times a week but it isn’t the same. Needless to say I will not be joining her in the breakwater but hope to be alongside in a boat shouting my support through a megaphone!

I love the little green cabin up top. It also seems to have a safer perch! ~Good luck to your friend!
