Picture postcard

At the community hall in our little enclave of chalets, we found some postcards depicting the area. I bought a load to have as a momento for chalet guests. The pic below shows the whole of Freathy which I will take you through.

At the very bottom of the card you have to visualize the beach, with Military road running across the middle of the card, all chalets between the road and the bottom of the card are situated on the cliff. Above the road is a cluster of chalets known as field one, two and three and beyond that a large field with the farm down in the valley alongside a line of trees. If you look through the field you will see a furrowed pathway that goes straight up and then turns right leading to a small row of chalets. From there you can see over the field and down to the sea, hence the name Sea Field View.
