Fifteen months ago we tackled our back wall, which was inordinately high giving us no view of the countryside beyond. We started taking off the top layers and realised that a good foot was debris that had naturalised with weeds, bottles and bricks but also lodged in were complete doors and many feet of ‘two b four’- in builders speak.
Here it is in June 2011 taken back to the stone ready for nature to re claim it
and here it is now with lots of growth (plus our neighbour’s cat with it’s beady eye on something). Now, there’s a great view over to Maker Heights and here it is at dusk with a pinky glow around the moon.
