lazy sunday

A good weekend on the cliff, Saturday was so clear you could see all the way down the coast to the Lizard. Less sun on Sunday but dry and good enough for a stroll and we had guests staying, which always makes the walk better value. The cast of Take Me With You were having a day off before heading up the country to continue their tour- the current show from Starving Artists who also happen to be our son’s godparents.

We walked along the cliff to the Cliff Top Cafe for brunch and then back along the beach watching the many surfers (there was a good swell) and home for a lazy Sunday lunch. A perfect day.

This great bit of driftwood, with the buoys hanging from it, is on Treganhawke beach just by the beach cafe, where we got strawberry ice cream cones

and these are our new neighbours, they were feeling pretty lazy too!

Indeed, that sounds like the perfect lazy Sunday! A lovely walk along the coast, surfer watching and strawberry ice cream. I don’t think I’d add anything to that mix.
